Experience and Education Requirements
- CA / CPA / CFA / MBA
- Excellent communication skills
- 5 - 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and reporting
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Strong analytical abilities
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Proven mentorship capabilities
Job Responsibilities
- Projection of financial statements for multiple years, including balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow statements
- Develop complex financial models to support business decisions
- Provide guidance and alerts on operational and key financial indicators like revenue, margin, and margin percentage
- Analyze and explain spending variances to budget / forecast
- Review financial results with finance and departmental management
- Provide ad hoc analysis as requested by management
- Maintain industry comparables models to benchmark business performance against key competitors
- Track industry news and activities, assessing value and impact to customer business goals
